Tom McHattie - query for West Ham experts.

I know Tom played for Hounslow when they reached the Amatuer Cup Final in the 1950's and went on to play for Scotland in an Amatuer International.
However, I believe he then went on to play for West Ham but if anyone could verify this it would be appreciated (would have thought this would have been around 1958 - 1962). Many thanks. Bruce.

Bruce. I can't confirm that he played for West Ham but I can help a bit. He played for Hounslow in the FAAC Final in 1962 so any move to West Ham would have been 1962 or later. I run the HOUNSLOW FOOTBALL CLUBS Facebook page, all welcome. This covers any Team called Hounslow over the years. He is pictured in the Team group from that programme.

Tommy McHattie was still playing for Hounslow in December 62 and somebody with that name was playing for Hayes in August 63. Possibly the same player?

1963 - He played for Hayes, can't find any other mention of him

He certainly never played for the West Ham first team and I've never heard the name in connection with any West Ham team

A quick google search on McHattie in theyflysohigh and whu-programmes didn't get any hits so I would be pretty certain he had no West Ham connection

virtually certain he joined the professional ranks but guess I was wrong.
