Item condition: --

1
Winning bid: £20.00

Some of you may remember that a couple of months back I posted on here saying how pleased I'd been to win the 6 x 1940's Everton home programmes above. The joy finished as soon as I won them!

I got an email from the selller saying that as he'd lost one of them he would reimburse me the money. I immediately smelt a rat and thought that he was reneging on the deal because he hadn't got enough for them, so I wrote back saying that if there was a problem I still wanted them and we could renegotiate a pro rata deduction for the "lost one" Needless to say, I didn't hear a scooby from him, and so opened a case against him on ebay - who were worse than useless in their complete lack of assistance.

They did advise though that I should contact him, and explained how I got his details, so MARK DIAMOND, I'm now making other people aware of your blatant dishonesty and fraudulent trading practices.

My feedback for him can be checked out on his wmd1984 page. Needless to say, it isn't complimentary......

You can actually see on his completed items when compared to the item you left feedback on that he sold them individually later one

Sadly this happens from time to time. I had similar experience with a newcastle collector/seller. He advertised a bundle of tickets which I won for a cheap price. He then concocted some story about wife posted it and should be on way but then later it turned up back at his house with "return to sender" on it because she had written address wrong blah blah blah but he now didn't want to complete deal because I had been impatient and rude. He later then listed tickets individually.

Yep , eBay absolutely useless in these situations. Not really an auction site at all if people don't list a reserve price but cant simply refuse to send items because the selling price was disappointing. I like the feedback. But sadly feedback don't mean a thing really. I normally say I am in their area in the next week or so. I shall give them a call with my friends Laughing makes them nervous to answer the door for a few weeks .
