Welcome to our Summer e-newsletter – programme forum version.

There was no real break from football this Summer with Euro 2012 followed by Olympic football. The traditional ‘curtain raising’ FA Community Shield (staged at Villa Park this year because of Olympic football at Wembley) takes place on 12th August. This is now available on www.footballprogrammes.com/onlineshop

Attention then switches to the International scene when England play their Euro 2012 conquerors Italy in what is technically a home friendly but to be staged in Berne, Switzerland on 15th August as Wembley is still ‘out of commission’

At the end of the month the UEFA Super Cup takes place in Monaco. This will be the last of a 15 year run in Monte Carlo before it goes ‘on tour’ for a few years – Prague next August followed by Cardiff in 2014 and Tbilisi in 2015.

Euro 2012 has now been and gone. As the tournament was staged in Eastern Europe and the travelling support from the Western European countries was ‘limited’ to say the least print runs of the programmes were very low. The final programme was completely sold out well before kick-off and all copies of the Ukrainian language version brochure were snapped up in the first round of matches! The last few remaining copies of our stock are currently available in our onlineshop.

We also have the 2012 Olympic football brochure which covered ALL games plus the only individual programmes that were published which were those that featured Team GB.
