Bayern Munich v Manchester City - Champions League 2013-14

Can anyone confirm whether the programme (link attached) that can be found on ebay is official or a pirate? Was it available on the night of the game?

If you read his feedback & view items & discription, they all say official.....

This discription it has been omitted

Stay clear unless you collect pirate

Or better still....contact the seller

A fair number of Euro and International pirates come out of the Netherlands these days. The sellers name is familiar, I think he may be one of them.

The press kit he has for this game in another auction states its in a UEFA folder, so sounds like the real deal to me...could be wrong.

He grabs loads of folders at early CL and EL games. He prints the presskits off the UEFA website and sells them for all the popular teams.

Thanks for the comments so far everybody.

I feel the programme isn't an official issue.

This seller also currently has 'programmes' for sale for Maribor v Wigan and St Gallen v Swansea. Am I to assume that these too are probably pirates? He does, however, have some genuine items and this makes it all the more difficulty to sort the good from the bad.

I find this very hard to believe.

There have been a number of fakes and reprints coming out of Holland recently and some stories have been proved false

Note I don't recognize the English seller and suspect he has been duped.

OK an update here.

I've contacted the 2 UK sellers both of whom I believe to be innocent parties here. 1 got his programmes from a City collector who was in Munich. The other got them from a Dutch guy at the youth league game. The story he was told was that the Dutch guy was trying to buy them from Wolfgang in Bayern and they had a minimum order of 100 so he sold some on.

Anyway i've no doubt the Man City guys are telling the truth but have been duped.

It does confirm that it was available in munich at the game but clearly a pirate.

The Holland v Japan played in Belgium is also a fake btw.

In many cases the programmes are simply sold directly from Holland but he does travel to some games and sell them outside as well eg Luxembourg v Scotland.

Only just seen this topic but to add further confirmation to the above I also went to the corresponding fixture 2 years ago and enquired about programmes at one of the club shops in the Allianz Arena and was told that they don't produce official programmes for these fixtures.
