Classic "Flog It" evaluation of £80 to £120. Had it have been at Blundell Park at least double the higher end.

I have actually seen this programme at his house (purchased a few random items) and, whilst not taking a great deal of notice, now you mention it, and looking at the images, you may well be right.

Do Everton progs from that era have a stand out front cover or are they, like many at the time, look like an advertising page with the club name barely noticeable?

Just been looking on the Bluekipper.com site and particularly the David France collection. Noticed a front cover from a bound volume of homes from 1933. I think that the one being advertised has no cover.

but.............my good Grimsby Town friend Tintowner was asking the value of a 31-2 Everton v Grimsby, which I gave him.

With the info I gave him I know he'd have more than capable of evaluating one on ebay from that, with or without cover? Personally, I wouldn't touch anything without a cover, but that's a personal preference.

Anyway Leslie, I'm getting six to death of all this criticism Clap Clap Clap

Everton Programmes from pre-war dobhave front covers, this can be seen in the many examples on the Everton collection website.

I have a 23-34 v Leeds reserves & that certainly has a cover on it. Typical flog it value John? Very Happy

It may have originally come from a bound volume. I have a bound volume from 36/7, there are no covers on each in that.

An update on the Everton v Grimsby FA Cup prog 31/2:

The programme sold for £52. The buyer left very negative feedback stating that 8 pages (including the cover) were missing. The seller, pointed out that the buyer saw the pictures and even picked up the item in person.

Was the seller at fault, or was it the buyer who picked it up in person ?

Surely has to be the buyer if they picked it up.... Why not say something when picking it up instead of hiding behind a keyboards, I would back the seller in this instance.
