ive got a wigan v hereford programme dated 31/10/71 and on the front it says northern premier league but hereford played in the sothern league is this a cup game or a friendly Confused

there is not much info inside apart from saying they hope both leagues joining together in the future. can anybody shed any light on this game please Sherlock

Oxford Utd have also played in it. Has rubber boundaries, Hereford!
