That's quite a lot less than one dealers catalogue price that I've seen for this recently

You see it on some dealer's lists with four figures against it which is quite plainly ridiculous. Prices like that only discourage people from taking up the hobby, or they trap unsuspecting folk into parting with a lot of money needlessly.
