Leeds United confirm Ken Bates as new owner

Leeds United have confirmed chairman Ken Bates is the new owner of the club. It shall be intresting to see how much money they spend in the summer.

What is more interesting is the question "Was he the 'real' owner all the time"? I and many other Leeds fans have always been very dubious of what went on to but Leeds out of administration. KB and his management team claimed in a court in Jersey, and even more recently to the Parliamentary Inquiry into Football, that he did not know who the owners were - but he has managed to do a deal to buy a controlling share - very strange!
