It was all a bit disappointing wasn't it really, so easy. I thought Wales might have been up for it, but obviously not!! Easy

I was at work so only got to watch the first 20 minutes of it. By all accounts, the game ended at that point as a contest.

Glen Johnson, the new Beckham!

To be honest I was very disappointed with england, 2-0 could and should of been at least 5-0 !! ..

There was no way that we were ever going to get anything against england...too much respect was shown and the moment a meaty challenge was made the portugese ref booked the player.

After all the farce of trying to get a ticket for this game even though im a gold member ill be glad to move back to club grounds and get away from the millenium stadium

Don't watch England games due to the team being full of overyhyped primadonnas and they continually fail to deliver on the big stage.

By the sounds of it, I didn;t miss much Smile

Yes, disappointing result - no contest really.

Have had a season ticket for last 12 years for Wales home games, but not given the opportunaty to renew now that 'smaller games' have been transferred to other regional grounds. Will probably now attract even smaller crowds, should have kept all games at Millenium - should play all games in the capital.

Matt what was the problem with tickets - these were freely available up to 2 weeks before the game.

regards

Signed up for Gold membership in the middle of Jan, didnt get the option to purchase a home ST even though others were....When I went into get my ireland ticks for the nations cup asked do you want my england form now around the 8th Feb was told no we've extended the gold members application to the 18th Feb....went in on the 15th advised that it was probably unlikely that I was going to get a ticket.

My application came back to me !....

The only way I managed to get a ticket was when I advised the WFA that there a seller selling 5 home tickets on ebay...the WFA then contacted the seller who agreed to send them back, this was last weds - got my ticket the next day.

Ive not missed a wales home game for years and years, lots disagree with paying for the priviledge to apply for an away ticket (me included) personally I feel it is harming the support which we cannot afford to lose, I know lots of people who like me have not missed a game for years who have just given up because of this "membership" !!

How much do you pay for this membership?

I think the SFA were pioneers in this respect with the Scotland Travel Club which they set-up in 1980 to distribute away tickets. It's now known as the Scotland Supporters Club and is £40 for two years membership.

Entitles you to guanteed home tickets, plus a point systen for allocating away tickets. Works pretty well and at less than £2 a month, well worth it (you even get freebies like t-shirts, badges, CD's etc!)

There are 32,500 members, ie max capacity.

I was one of the original members of the England membership scheme - member number 222. I think this was set up shortly after the 1992 European Championships. It was the only way to be certain of tickets in those days, home and away (no points system in those days, thank goodness). At that time it also gave you the opportunity to take part in a ballot to get tickets for all European finals at the end of each season as each nation got an allowance. Not many people knew about this and the membership scheme was not aggresively advertised. In those days the scheme was just run in a non profit way, and the fee just to cover admin costs - how times have changed!

I ditched my membership of the England scheme in 1997 and joined the Scotland travel club before the 1998 W cup - a friendly organisation and always someone at the end of the telephone to help you out for away travel, tickets and accommodation. I must give them 10/10 for being fan friendly.

Getting tickets for Wales games has never been a problem, but in order to get away tickets I joined their membership scheme for a couple of seasons, until my membership lapsed.

Getting tickets for major events are a huge problem these days and I was lucky enough last year to get tickets in the final of the Europa league and Champions league.

In Euro 2004 I entered the online ballot for 16 games, thinking I could probably get 3/4 tickets - I got tickets for every game I went in for and spent an expensive but rewarding month travelling up and down the length of Portugal - happy days!

Is that every two years , or every year? a bit steep if its every year.

I posted earlier that the SSC was at capacity ie 32,500, most of these members are in it for the guarantee of home tickets. There's only around 7,800 members who have attended one or more of the last 10 away Scotland games, although that will rise after Sunday's Brazil game as 11,200 members applied for tickets.

As a side note, I see the qualifying draw for the 2014 World Cup is 6 months early, taking place on 30/31 July. I've started saving my pennies already and will be going regardless of Scotland's success (or non success!) in qualifying. Hopefully tickets are straightforward to obtain.

Isn't the World Cup draw always early because other associations (mostly South America!) start their qualifying much earlier than we do?

I signed up for the silver membership and got my gift box, and luckily they didn't mess our tickets up for Saturday, even though I couldn't go in the end. The games have become a huge hassle recently anyway due to the fact that neither our fans or Cardiffs seem to be able to separate club and country, it's utterly pathetic that when we're playing England the police have to keep Welsh fans apart.
