Sarajevo v Manchester United 1967

For everyone out there who has seen all the masses of debate about this item some months ago, then this reply is to let everyone see what the seller is offering for a mere 11,000 Euros.

The cover of this image you see before you is one of the few original programmes to materialise, it was the property of a former Chairman of Manchester United so there are no issues here regarding provenance.
SARAJEVO TICKET v Man U Euro Cup 19678

Above are two examples of original match tickets.

Hasn't the asking price increased ie €11,000 = £9,500, whereas before it was £8,000?

Yes,it has. That's because programme will be brought to England for a buyer to see and inspect and that involves certain difficulties and costs. For anybody who's willing to come to Belgrade to see and inspect the programme the price remains the same.

Yes Leslie, thank you. You're very kind.Anybody who's is seriously interested in buying this programme can get scans from me too(scans of a copy that I own and offer for sale).I really don't know what's the point attaching scans of the ticket.I don't have it and I'm not offering it for sale.

The point of showing the tickets is simple enough, there is a seller offering the programme, the programme is very rare indeed, the seller does not show the programme on the forum sight where the seller is trying to promote and offer his item for sale and for the price that the seller is asking he should include an image surely.

Now as this is a collectors forum for programmes, tickets, shirts, and all sorts of memorabilia and as i am a member of this forum who already has the item and others associated with this match then I felt it would be of interest to any other members to be able to see what the items look like, that is what we do on this forum, share information, images, views, ideas-that is why this forum works so well-everyone can have a say.

I agree, it isn't just about selling things, I think it is fascinating what is out there. If Leslie is prepared to go to the effort of uploading images for no financial gain but to give an insight into the hobby then fair play to him.

The seller will be more than happy to send scans of the programme he's selling to anybody interesting in buying it.It was nice of you that you felt the need to inform all at this forum how the programme I'm selling looks like, but that still doesn't explain why you attached the scans of the ticket that I'm not selling.

Hello Andi

You are not a collector-we are all collectors, this forum has a ticket section.

It is nothing to do with your item that you are selling it is to do with the fact that collectors want to see and like to see interesting/unusual and expensive items. That is why I put images on the forum and so does everyone else. If you were a collector you would understand, read some of the comments already they like to see it. So what is the problem? now do you understand. Go to my website see all the different items. ok Bye Bye Leslie

Hello Leslie,
There is no problem. It's actually nice that you attached scans of the ticket so that people can see how it looks like.It seemed a bit strange to me that you in reaction to my advert for a programme attached scans of a ticket too. That's all.

Time to move on I think.

In my opinion you would be better placing the programme in a specialist auction rather than expecting success on this site as you would have had an offer by now.

How do you know that there were no any offers?
