Could anyone give me a rough guide to how much Northampton v Manchester United FA cup programme
1969/70 7th feb 1970 FA CUP Northampton Town played at the County Ground score 8-2

Goodness knows in this current climate, was worth £10 to £15 in good condition a while ago

A programme for this F A Cup tie in very good condition sold for £55 at the recent Sportingold auction ( lot 870 )

Wow, are you sure it didnt include anything else, I only say this as I have seen copies going for less than a tenner recently.

The lot was described as " programme for F A Cup tie at Northampton 07 Feb 1970 when Best returned from suspension to score 6 goals in an 8-2 victory ". Very good condition with an estimate of £20-£30
I agree that the price it realised is staggering and around £10 would be a more realistic current value.

The last one I sold was for £8 on this forum and I was quite happy with that price. There must have been something special about the prog that sold at Sportingold.

Yes, there was something special about this programme......it was sold at sportingold.

Oh and for the record 2 of these programmes have sold on ebay in the last 2 weeks for £22 each.
