One of my favourite non-SAFC players. Being exiled in Birmingham, I would often pop along to Villa Park in the late 89s/early 90s, though nowadays I tend to confine myself to non-league football if I'm not watching Sunderland.

Very sad news.

yes - one of my favourite Ipswich Town players of all time.

I will never forget his stunning hat-trick against Middlesbrough in the late 1980's, a player with so much more raw talent than everyone else.

I was 12 on this day.

His third goal was a smashed in after Mich D'Avary's header came back off the post and he also dribbled and crossed for the other goal of the game (a D'Avary header).
