Happy new year everyone
I have finally managed to obtain the 1962 tour of Canada -USA tour badge made for the first team players for the tour. As I am told only a dozen or so were made and I only know of one other collector who has one so quite a catch for a blades collector

I remember the thread about it a few years ago - the one on ebay a few years ago went for hundreds I seem to recall, so very well done.

I could have bought pretty much all the oldest Palace badges over the years as they've pretty much all been offered to me, but rather than pay hundreds each per badge, I have a funny preference for having hundreds of matchbadges, each worth very little (if anything in some cases!)

Yes I'm the same I like my match badges.

Since the blades went down to the pub league no one seems to make them anymore.

Hurry up and get back to the Championship then! I've just had a look at which teams are in L1, and to be honest there's almost no 'badge producing' clubs there at all is there? Apart from maybe Pompey, but they've got more important things to worry about right now!

It's fairly good at the moment in the Champ. badge-wise, some nice ones for Wolves and Blackpool this season. Hoping for promotion this season though, it'd be a badge frenzy overdose if Palace could somehow get to the Prem!

great badge.... recent canadian tour badges I have seen (for example Celtic a couple of years back) copied this style...

ps I love how we all have Miller Ball badges as our Avatars....
