If only our old mate John was here to see this.

Saturday 29th Nov 2025 - Talbot become the first level 6 team to win by 4 goals (4-0) in the Cup v a Scottish league side - Dumbarton.

Sunday 30th Nov - 4th round draw - Talbot home v Celtic on 17th Jan 26, or that weekend anyway. That's Glasgow Celtic away to Auchinleck. Amazing.

Incredible time to be an Auchinleck Talbot fan. I'm not one but I have looked for their results ever since John's sad passing.

RIP John, our old mate. I bet you're smiling.

Love

Come on Talbot!!!!

You beat me too it, as I was going to post something this afternoon.

As you say "Up the Talbot"

RIP John, your posts are greatly missed.

Had the same thought when I saw the draw earlier today as well, it's amazing how seeing something like this can draw your mind back to someone (who I never met) and think of with fond memories of his posts about all things Talbot

Was going to say the same thing - I saw the club name mentioned on twitter today where fans were debating what venue the game might be played at- and thought of John.

The big day has arrived for the Talbot v Celtic.

Pity it is only on Premier Sports channel, unless anyone knows where it can be viewed for free.

Up the Talbot.

Yeah, come on Talbot, you've probably got as much chance as Macclesfield against the FA Cup holders......... Palace. Ouch - that still hurts! Shocked
