Hi, Quick question . I am looking at a programme on ebay 1961/62 season and he says it includes team sheet!!! i asked him to elaborate and he replied it is a seperate sheet of paper with the names of the players from both sides , this is in addition to the teams printed in the programme. Would this be an original team sheet?

thanks dale

i think i have sussed it now , it looks like it was an insert for the original programme which i assume was postponed. it was stoke v bury dated 31st dec 1961 , but it wasnt played until april 11th 1962

There were a few "teamsheets" inserted into Stoke City home programmes from postponed matches from the early to mid sixties, such as Bury, Birmingham, Scunthorpe and Sheffield United.

I've seen the SCFC v SUFC yellow "teamsheet" from 65/66 for sale on Ebay described as a reserve programme.

Hi Paul,

Sorry to hijack the thread but with regards to another Stoke teamsheet-type programme I was just wondering if you also had this programme? Is it relatively rare as I don't believe I have seen it elsewhere? I take it the side that Stoke fielded was also a reserve side?

Any info would be appreciated

Cheers Thumbs Up

It is a teamsheet from a Staffs Senioir Cup tie played in the week commencing 22 February 1982.

Stoke played the first round in mid November and the semi final in late March, so it must be the quarter final
