Hi all,

Please read this salesletter I have produced, offering signed football shirts from Paul Fraser Collectibles. Also includes information on forgeries etc:

Let me know what you think. how could it be more effective?

Cheers,

I don't have to read to tell you how it can be more effective.

Just put the word "Don't Buy Signed Shirts".

I mean why would you ? pointless unless your were at the side of the pitch when the player walked off and he handed to you and signed it there and then. The rest are worth the price of a cheap t-shirt in my opinion.

Blackpool's auction of their poppy shirts has just ended and they have raised plenty for the Royal British Legion. Thumbs Up

At least with these shirts you should definitely know what you are getting.

One unique match worn shirt signed by the player himself and with a guarantee that no replicas of the poppy shirts will be made.

Unfortunately someone will probably find their way around this though and try and make some money for themselves.

I believe Sunderland were one of, if not the first team to sell poppy shirts on eBay. They could be picked up for reasonable amounts. Now all teams are selling them and they go for huge amounts of money (all for a good cause) . I think the reason they sell for such high prices are one, all the money goes to the British Legion and two, people know they are genuine. I see the Arsenal shirts are selling at the moment for their game v Manchester United. I bet they go for £1000,s
If I were a collector of modern match day shirts , these are the only ones I would collect.

Number 15 Peter Crouch and 4 Sammi Hyypia

#3 probably Steve Finnen

thinking top right Arbeloa and bottom left Morientes....dates it 2005/7 which is pretty much consistent for all of them at Liverpool

Albion ones end tonight - https://auctiondesq.imgstg.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=subcategory&CategoryID=2510&SubCategoryID=49&OrgID=7625

Not that I think any player born after 1950 is worth my money.

Yes, one of last year's shirts but although it says it is a player issue version it doesn't mention a specific player.

Perhaps Arsenal agreed to produce some extra ones, with the poppy and additional writing, but without player specifics.

Blackpool have said they will not be producing any additional poppy shirts other than the 18 provided for the match against Ipswich.
