No problem about doing the list.
No idea on the programmes for the vast majority.Bristol City in 51/52 is a single sheet that i once found in a bundle and got a disappointing tenner for on ebay.Bolton in 55/56 is a full size programme that can be got for under a fiver.

oldbolt - your excellent list of Bury friendlies has thrown up an age old question regarding Bury matches against Blackpool.

Blackpool 1st team certainly played a match at Bury on 8 August 1962. Single sheet issued.

Blackpool 2nd team also played a match at Bury 2 days later on 10 August 1962. I have a single sheet for this one.

I have been asked once or twice about a game at Blackpool on 10 August 1962 but had always thought it unlikely because also on that day Blackpool had a Tangerines v Whites practice match and together with the 2nd team playing at Bury I couldn't see there being a third game on the day.

You have now included this one on your list with an actual score which would certainly imply there was a game. I am obviously going to have to research this further to see if they definitely did have 3 games in one day Sherlock

Regarding programmes, the friendly on 19/10/54 had an 8 page issue and the one on 2/5/55 a 4 page issue. This game on 2/5/55 was played at Netherfields ground in Kendal not at Bury.

re the friendly at Blackpool on 10/8/1962

As well as listing the score as 1-1, the book has the Bury scorer as Mayers (pen) and an attendance of 3,400.

Mayers played in all but one of Bury's first team league games until Boxing Day that season so it is likely he would be playing in a first team friendly rather than a reserves friendly at Gigg Lane.
