Aren't kids just brilliant when it comes to football, how they don't have that stubborn loyalty to a clubbefore we wear them down?!!
When we were in the premiership, the Monday after getting hammered 5-1 in the league at Liverpool, and Michael Owen terrorised our defence, I took my son down to the City Ground. After we had bought our tickets for the next game, I asked if I could show my son the pitch, as he had never been before. When we got there, Jon Olav Hjelde, our centre half at the time, was there. We got chatting, and he was the nicest bloke on the planet. He then turned to my son and asked him who his favourite player was. I nearly died when he turned round and said 'Michael Owen!!' He'd run the poor bloke ragged a few days before, and now some 5 year old 'Forest fan' was saying that it was his favourite player!!

Here is another. My sons partners youngest aged 5 was the Leicester mascot for our away game at MKDons last season and before the game he was taken into the dressing room to meet the players and get their autographs. After he had got them all he looked at them and shouted out in a loud voice Dan why is it all just scribble.
