does any1 know of any games that don't feature ayr united at somerset park please.

Ayr played 135 games between 1897 and 1905, Albion Rovers played 1 league game against Ayr United 17/2/12 (Albion Rovers classed as the home team - bigger gate envisaged) and St Mirren played 1 league game against Ayr United 19/3/21 (St Mirren classed as the home team - rebuilding at St Mirren Park) and Kilmarnock v Hearts 15/4/16 (Rugby Park unavailable as was used for an agricultural show that day).

Quite a number of Jackie Scarlett Cup Finals and maybe Ayrshire Cup Finals, all involving Ayrshire Junior clubs. I have one on ebay at the moment, see our ebay site "wewon3inarow" If I find any more, do you want them? They're not expensive, and all the money goes to the regeneration of our ground at Auchinleck.

I have a dim and distant memory of watching a junior international (either U18 or U23) between Scotland and Wales at Somerset Park.
The game was originally scheduled to be played at Firhill, but having driven up from Bristol I found a scribbled Notice on the main gate stating that the pitch was waterlogged and the game had been switched to Ayr.
I don't have the programme (if there was one) - just one of many I now regret not keeping!
