I am well on the way to completing a full list of all Blackpool's matches in this competition but I have no details at all for seasons 1972/3, 1973/4 and 1974/5.

Are there any followers of North West clubs with details of your club playing Blackpool in any of these seasons?

I also require confirmation of date of fixture and whether a programme was issued for

76/7 Oldham away
77/8 Tranmere away
79/80 Rochdale home
80/1 Tranmere away
83/4 Oldham home
85/6 Bury away
05/06 Rochdale away

And finally has anyone evidence of a programme for this fixture?

Hi Bispham, not much help I'm afraid but as has been mentioned before on here:

1974-5 Everton v Blackpool FAYC 3rd Rd 14.1.75 (0-0) and Blackpool v Everton, FAYC 3rd Rd Replay 4.2.75 (1-3)

The Blades have only played you three times and certainly not within this period.

FAYC is another story and a lot more research but I am slowly getting there with that competition as well.

At least your records showing our clubs have met 3 times ties in with mine.

1982/83 Blackpool played Halifax in the FA Youth Cup. A single sheet was issued.

Nice to see Halifax in the Conference next season.

Had some good trips to the Shay in the 80s/90s even the 3-5 defeat in 1990 when we were 3-1 up after about half an hour.

I have the match on tape somewhere, although no longer own a VHS so not sure how we came back from 3-1 down to win to 5-3. I suspect a red card might have had something to do with it.
Was a great day yesterday for the club and finally back to where they were 5 years ago before been liquidated. Hopefully we can keep the momentum going and get back in to the league asap.

With Blackpool winning through to the semi final of the Lancashire FA Youth Cup on Tuesday afternoon it has reminded to 'bump' up this post in case anyone can assist.

I have no details for any of Blackpool's Lancashire FA Youth Cup matches in seasons 1973/4 and 1974/5.

With regards to the 78/9 Blackpool v Burnley, I haven't got it and none of the other 'Big 4' Burnley collectors have it either. While this isn't a definite 'no issue' statement, it does strongly suggest a programme doesn't exist.
