There was a Rovers collector who kept getting banned from ebay for non payment of goods and not supplying what he had sold. Must have been banned at least 10 times by now. I keep having to update my blocked bidders list.

The Blackburn collector/dealer wants collections of old Blackburn programmes wouldnt we all.

I have a Pre War Blackburn v Stoke 1935/6 £200 I shall be taking to the London Fair.
Also as well as Pre War Homes of Bradford City Blackpool Darlington Coventry v Nelson Middlesbrough Huddersfield Walsall QPR Man City Liverpool Preston Shrewsbury New Brighton Reading Newcastle Rotherham County York Stockport West Brom Aldershot Etc

35/36 season Rovers homes do come around, strangely the most common Rovers season in the 30s. I have 14 different from that season, 37/8 season i only have 2.

I know of three other West Ham collectors who are complete for all West Ham home and away in the league post war...apart from Blackburn v West Ham 1949/50. It took me best part of 20 years to finally track one down

A few years ago I was searching on completed ebay listings and one stood out for about £1700, dozens of post war Blackburn, the person selling had just listed it as "Blackburn football programmes" and listed just the dates of all the games (not the opponents!!). Fortunately this was in the days when you could see who was the highest bidder so I was able to negotiate a decent price with him directly. Don't think I have ever seen such a badly worded listing as that, the buyer must have made a fortune on resales....
