1.Buy a cardboard tube
2. Roll up the newspaper
3. Stick it in the tube
4. Go to the post office
5. Buy stamps
6. Stick them on the tube
7. Post it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

DANGERMAN - If you roll it up it will NOT be folded.
The new owner will just need to remove the Royal Mail slug from the centre page! |

Make sure you fold the programme lengthways (you'll need a longer tube of course) otherwise you risk damaging the spine. |

Postal tubes won't go through the letter box -
I've noticed most sellers tend to post programmes NOT RECORDED and most items slot through the letter box .
Tubes may result in the receiver having to collect items or have them re-posted . Bit of inconvenience really .
Mind you postmen don't like them so i suppose thats a plus !
On the other hand - the days when posties could leg it straight home after delivery have gone - thus the temptation to dump things in your dustbin or at the back of your house should be over . _________________ http://www.subbuteoandephemeraworld.co.uk/index.asp

So the general consensus seems to be don't touch the Derby County newspaper style programmes with a bargepole |
they are a bloody nightmare, but what can you do? If you need one to complete a set ? Look one the bright side. No rusty staples |

With the cost of decent postal tubes plus the postage charges at packet rate poor old Dangerman will need to charge around £3.50 p/p to cover expenses !!!!!!!!
 |
that means i would only have to sell about 7 to make a profit |

you will be lucky to sell 2 or 3 mate let alone 7. Check out completed items on ebay and you will find that 95% of the listed derby newspaper progs do not sell..........but good luck to you |

Tenner !! surely you mean a Tenner loss and he wont need to wait till 2014 to make that. The point of this tale is don't buy crap like that at auctions.
