Am trying to help out the widow of a very good friend who passed away just before Xmas. She has asked me to get rid of his football memorabilia, to hopefully finance a headstone. Over the next week or two I'll be putting some items on here prior to them either going onto ebay, or auction. There's over 500 autographs - mainly modern - either on card or the likes of Pro Set cards, but they're all in immaculate condition. There's 7 autograph books which he compiled mainly from teams visiting the Cliff (United's training ground when it was still accessible to the public)Blundell Park, home of the Mighty Mariners of Grimsby Town. Despite their sad current plight, a lot of very famous players and managers visited the Park in the 1990's to about 2005, when he stopped going.

FIRST SALE.

(1) PENNANT 1991 Cup Winner's Cup Final, Man. Utd vs Barcelona in Rotterdam. Purchased at the game, it has small marks on the back but the front is superb, with the colours as vivid as the day of the game due to being kept in a drawer in the original plastic wrapping since the day of the game. £15, pp £1.50.
(2) OFFICIAL MANCHESTER UNITED AUTOGRAPH BOOK. With signatures from players from the 1997-98 side, plus Jeff Whitefoot for some strange reason. Players are Clegg, Curtis, Cole, Butt, May, Keane, Berg, Cooke, Jonson, Solskjaer, Alex Ferguson, Van Der Gouw, Cruyff, Schmeichel, Hughes, Irwin, Mulryne, Gillespie, Healey, Macken, Murdock, Sharpe, Higginbotham, Robbins, Ince, Fortune, plus three that I don't recognise, and they aren't identified as the others are. Note some of the pages are loose. £30, potage £1
(3) Coloured photo from Match magazine (I think) of Eric Cantona in a Leeds United strip, signed by Eric in blue ink. £10 postage £1
(4) White postcard with a wonderfully clear George Best autograph on it (one of three in the collection) Immaculate condition, purchased when he was doing an after dinner show with Rodney Marsh in Cleethorpes. £15. Postage £1
(5) 1991 European Cup Winners Cup Final ticket. Two light folds otherwise very good. £15, postage £1.
(6) Canon League Football Players Records 1946-1984, including the following autographs to their respective photos / biographies - Brian Clough; Steve Coppell; Tony Currie; Archie Gemmill; Emlyn Hughes; Roy McFarland; Paul Mariner; David O'Leary; Ron Saunders; Graeme Souness; Nobby Stiles; Ken Wagstaff £25 plus £5 postage.
(7) 1999 F.A.Cup Final programme, United vs Newcastle £12 inclusive of postage. Very good condition.
( Last game at Boothferry Park, Hull City vs Darlington 2002-03 Limited Edition programme, gold cover. Cover price £10, includes repro of the Hull vs Man. Utd 48-9 FACup tie. Very good condition. £10 plus £1.50 postage.
(9) First game at the Kingston Stadium, Hull City vs Sunderland 02-03 £5 plus £1.30 postage.
