Who was Stuart Glass?

Anybody out there heard of footballer Stuart Glass? Brian Talbot gave him one game for the Baggies in 1989-90, in an end of season Testimonial. So could have been a promising trialist (not taken up), or just a mate of Talbot from a previous club. Only reference to that name (not that common) online is a famous football hooligan of the time. Anybody recognise the name from their club?

Palace had a keeper in the juniors then (late 80's) called Jimmy Glass, never played for the 1st team and had a few loan spells, plus played about 100 games for Bournemouth in the mid 90's. Claim to fame was scoring for Carlisle while on loan there to keep them up or win them promotion - not sure which now, that was about 1999. Was Stuart a keeper?

He was a trialist full-back and played one game, a friendly at Cheshunt in May 1990. I was at the game (sad) but knew nothing about the player till the following day's paper, when he was mentioned, but no details. No mentions in the National Newspaper Archive from the period.

It might be worth searching for Stuart Glass on Facebook and LinkedIn, it's not a hugely common family name so you never know.
