I think I must be a sucker for this kind of thing! The minute I saw details of it, I had to order one!

Yet all 150 copies will be handled delicately, It'll go into my collection but I will never sell it. It probably won't increase in value because anyone who wants one is already paying good money for it!

But collecting is in my blood I guess, and I'll get a lot of pleasure from when I receive it, and occasionally getting it out and looking at it. Collect what you love is always my motto!

I too have just ordered one.

My late Father and I attended many England v Scotland games in the 70`s and 80`s, with me supporting England and my Old Man Scottish through and through.
One game at the old Wembley was memorable for my Dad shouting at me "Sit down you Bum!" as I railed against a Scottish foul. Much to the amusement , and bewilderment , of two German friends who sat between us.

This programme will be cherished as a reflection on those happy {?} family times at the football.

Mine arrived today in absolutely perfect condition, individually numbered #16/150

Superb 150 page issue in the first place, full of historical articles, to get it in a hardback presentation just makes it more special

I know it is expensive compared to the FA Cup Final hardbacks, but I am really pleased I treated myself!

They still have some for sale I see on the Ignition website

Despite being a Scotland collector and 2 short of completing H&A back to the war, I passed on this as it's ridiculously overpriced IMO, they're even struggling to sell a meagre 150 copies. I'd be surprised if sales surpassed 100 going by the numbered copies I've seen today.

From talking to a former bookbinder, his estimate of the unit cost of doing these is no more than £12-15 per copy.

The £10 normal issue is good enough for me!

Pleased that you are happy with your purchase Dorking, sometimes there is more to collecting than the cost of an item, the pleasure you get from owning that programme is only relevant to you, and as you have stated earlier you never viewed it as a financial investment.

I bought the special edition programme- very pleased with it. a quality product and really nice memento for the occasion

If I was to be slightly nit picking I was surprised that unlike the FAC hardback issues the casebound Scotland programme does not include the covers but does come with a certificate
