Arsenal.. Arses or Good Gooners?

Purveyors of Fine Football or 1-0 specialists (well, once upon a time!)?

Wenger need a trip to the Opticians? Robin got middle-ear problems again.

Given that the 4 previous Debates have thrown up a singular, overall dislike of the Bigger teams will Arsenal suffer the same fate from our readers?

I've finally managed to live with them beating us in two cup finals in the same season. I was only 11 years old at the time, I was traumatised for many a year.

Now I admire them for their way of football and their fantastic business plan. Still wouldn't go as far as to say I like them though.

I dont mind the Gunners although, I cant stand Arsen Wenger when he goes on about now seeing his own players cheating and yet he moans about other players doing it to his side.

Hands firmly in pockets and whistling nonchalantly. Cool

With WBA on this one.
I have no feelings one way or another towards Arsenal.
But Wenger, now he's another story.
Dispise the man.
I hope he doesn't drive a car as the blind git would never see what was right in front of him.

Another not bothered about Arsenal either way. Play nice football, but so do many teams. Wenger is a moaner, but so are most managers. Credit to him for the way he has not really overspent in transfers and put Arsenal into any monetary problems like other clubs seem to be.
But in all honesty the only time i really think about them is the week before we play them.

I'm sure we could easily put together our own PL XI of the "most hated" footballers.. (excepting of course those fans for whom the XI played for) - I'm sure many would be thinking of putting the likes of Stevie Me, Rio-DrugsTest, John Terry (right now), Cashley Cole, Ashley Young (Stevie's Apprentice) in there - I know many can't stand Tim Cahill cos he's not averse to "putting himself about", Kevin Nolan, Wayne Rooney (perhaps), Didier Drogba... and veterans ex-PL players like Big Dunc, Alan Smith, Joey Barton, Roy Keane etc. etc.

also perhaps Barry, Adebayor and Lescott (for mercenary reasons)

Kind of interesting that those we love to hate are often amongst the best players!

They're my favourite of the "big four", mainly because they usually play good football and like to develop young talent. Wenger is a massive moaning git, but still...

They are probably the only team I would pay to watch for the quality of football they play.

I have great memories of the 1988 FA Cup quarter final when Forest beat them at Highbury 2-1 with a lovely Brian Rice dink over Lukic.

Number 1 is Brian Rice, Number 2 is Brian Rice, Number 3 is Brian Rice, Number 4 is Brian Rice, Number 5 is Brian Rice, Number 6 is Brian Rice, Number 7 is Brian Rice, Number 8 is Brian Rice etc etc etc

Even the reaction of the Arsenal fans during and after the game has not put me off them

In saying that, I hate the lack of English players playing for Arsenal, but we live in a football world that is purely business and I stopped watching these mercenaries a long time ago

I also like to watch the kind of football they play, disappointing lack of home grown players although we're always told their on their way, only to be loaned out and shipped out, also think Wenger is reaching the end of his best before date.

I hate Arsenal, part of being a Spurs fan, but have to admire the football they play, shame that there are so few ENGLISH players in the squad.

Think Wenger for all his tactical genius is the second biggest muppet in football for the crap he spouts in interviews etc (Gary Neville being the first).
