Is anybody experiencing massive postal delays to Europe , I have had items take up to 2 months to get to Italy and others delayed by customs for up to 6 weeks. An item I posted on 6th December finally arrived in Italy today thankfully the buyer has been very patient and not reported the matter to Ebay.
Also has anybody seen tracked and signed item go missing after they leave Heathrow.
Finally I have recently had a number of items returned with not collected marked on the envelope including one which arrived last Friday which I posted in August last year , and one to the USA marked Return to Sender in Dispute unable to forward.

I'm finding hit and miss, though Europe seems to cause greater issues. I have found that customs is tending to be the biggest issue within the EU, they seem to be writing their own rules and working at whatever speed they want. I am thinking of switching to eBay's GSP.

I've mailed everyone that I post to abroad, explained delays through Covid and customs and most people have been understanding & patient.

Does anyone know how much the buyer actually pays for GSP?

As an example

- I send a programme to Germany, 100g, A4 envelope
- I understand I send this to an eBay mail handling address in UK (so a large letter stamp and envelope is my cost)
- But the buyer then pays for it to be sent UK => Germany, roughly how much?

Have I got that right? eBay's website is frustratingly vague around this

So I am involved in a new venture which is a game ( card game) aimed at parents of new borns. So far we have had a few overseas orders to retailers and UPS provide a superb service often cheaper than RM and tracked and signed ...it takes then two days to deliver to the UK but only four days for a similar shipment to anywhere in the USA.

Not suitable for everything but I am using for bulky UK shipments now as well. Royal Mail wanted £11 for a tracked and signed Manchester United programme binder ....£5.69 via UPS!
