It happens everywhere.Even on here.
I noticed yesterday full seasons of 1970's Millwall being offered on here for £35 for the season. These have recently been available on ebay for £18-20.
That's a 100% overprice by an experienced forum member who not unsurprisingly has not had one reply.
The trick is not to get involved rather than mock

I have managed to lost some stupid prices with clumsy thumbs in the past.....and looked wondering if this was the case....but no...he is simply insane!

Two thoughts...he only needs one unsuspecting buyer to make it worthwhile and also my collection insurance is well inadequate

Oh well....maybe I should list the same games but a pound cheaper.....that would show him!

He only has a few trades so difficult to know what exactly to make of it.He might be inexperienced or he might have mental issues. If it is the latter he needs sympathy and not taking the piss out of him.
When i go to programme fairs, which is few and far between these days, does the fact that most dealers take home 99.5% of what they bring and 100% of the higher end items on the backboards mean he is looking for an unsuspecting buyer, taking the piss,is inexperienced or has mental issues?
A few folk on here, who have no way of knowing what the situation is should imo be a little more sympathetic and if the item is not for them just give it a pass.
I watch with amazement folk listing hundreds of programmes on this forum for a pound each which are actually unsellable when you add postage, but i don't think they must be mental ,having clearly spent many hours preparing a list that common sense tells me they will never get a buyer for.
i am at the bottom end of the buying market,to be sure, but i just prowl around ebay looking for my wants lists items and when i see say 20 such programmes for a fiver i pounce.I don't ridicule anybody. There is no need

If he was selling a Mercedes for £25 or a diamond ring for a fiver l would agree he has mental issues, no doubt he has some dodge going, these are obviously priced not to sell.

Why are listing most of your items at grossly exaggerated prices?
This particular one for example is worth £1.

Dear Buyer,

You're always welcome to express your opinions. We will endeavour to sell items at prices suitable for us and our buyers. Your input is most appreciated.

Is there such a thing as an ebay troll, i'm beginning to think so.

A tad optimistic? This is genuinely on ebay but I didn't want to click the actual listing. On the plus side, they do offer free postage!
