The Widnes one was on ebay. Originally postponed from December. It has a wrap round insert 4 pages but the original was kept for that one. I picked it up with a load more widnes homes for my collection from 80/81 to 83/84 season. The Hull KR one was on ebay though.

Paul, there is a Rugby League Programme Fair coming up in Huddersfield University on January 16th from 10.30-1pm. It might show up there.

Where's this info from Bluenose? Not seen anything anywhere else, and nothing on the Heritage Quay website. There's been talk for ages that the next fayre will be in Huddersfield, but there's been the ones at Saints and Hunslet in the meantime!

Curtis?

Any other info anywhere? Strange that there's been nothing on here/elsewhere. Want to be sure it's on before I drag the kids over after their swimming lessons!

No a Gentleman called Glyn Jones who was at both the fairs before this one also. I trust Glyn impeccably. He's also a footy programme dealer and was at Altrincham fair that's where he told me that the Huddersfield date was on. Check if you wish my friend by all means do but don't doubt Glyn for one second.

No offence meant, and I know Glyn too, having bought off him in the past, so know he's a good guy. Will drop him a line & try and find confirmation and post back here. Thanks for the info.

No offence taken my friend. We do need to check these times and dates especially if they've not been released to the general public which is the organisers faults. Glyn is a top bloke. I just hope we can get some more rugby league fairs going and that they are spread equally between Yorkshire and the North West aka Lancashire.

Dropped Glyn a note last night and got a prompt reply, below

"There is indeed a fair at Huddersfield on 16th Jan., starting at 10.30am. Peter Lush has organised it and I understand there are 12 stall holders (including me) attending. It coincides with an open day at the RL Archives at the same venue. It is due to be advertised in the RL and local press this coming week."

Cheers Andrew. Any idea who the other stall holders are? Any new faces, or is it the usual crew?

Not sure who all the stall holders are.

The last correspondence I had from Peter Lush was on the 31st Dec and he stated 11 stalls by then so hopefully a few more since then

See you a week on Saturday 10.30 start
