anyone from the liverpool area remember this from saturday nights

anyone ever seen any listed particlarly from 1969/70 season

Yes i remember it well,used to deliver on paper round early 60s ,always remember one in pertic Everton 8 Cardiff 3 wasEvertons last game that season prob 63/64,Cardiff were religated if i recall. Afraid i have never seen them for sale anywere. Luckly i collected Pink Sporting Stars (Wolverhampton) when going to Wolves games 1967-75, have a few blanks missing ,have advertised on this site and also in Express & Star (Wolves) but never had any luck,thay only i think keep a stock on of about six months unfortunetly.

i remember reading it every saturday at my grandparents in liverpool , prob most have been chucked like ours

Sure I remember them - I used to get them most weekends... with the league tables (some teams falling out of the paper as the joke goes)

I've got a few old ones including - if memory serves me right - the one when Everton won the league in 1963 with a 4-1 home win over Fulham. We still beat Fulham at home but we don't win the league these days!
