I have the the Millwall v Derby County programme played on 3 September 1988.

However, looking at the programme it says 3 September 1987, which is incorrect.

Clubs in the 1960's used to play quite often on consecutive days especially Christmas / Easter. The dates you quoted are Good Friday and Easter Saturday for that year.
