I have started putting my Collection on Flickr, im all new to this. I have started with some 1966 tickets and a few 2002 Tickets. I will be uploading complete ticket sets from world cups/euro Championships over the coming days and weeks, and then will be move on to the Programmes and other world cup related items i have gathered over the years.

simple question and I dont want to appear rude but most of these tickets were issued to the press - were they actually used on the day to watch a game?

can someone who is an avid ticket collector give me their opinions ?
maybe opening a can of worms on this!!

Yes ALL these tickets would have granted entry to the stadium, whether they were actually used is a different story. I have purchased these tickets from probabley 20+ differnt sellers over the last couple of years. Some have folds which probabley came from the match day and quite a few are mint condition. Some tickets were apparently scanned on entry and kept in ticket holders etc... But there were quite a few empty seats at some matches in 2002 so theres probabley quite a few unused tickets floating about that never got used at matches!

Have a couple of sets of tickets for all london games from 66 with a few complete tickets.

Have to say that one you have for the final if original is very nice. Out of interest how much roughly would a complete one for the final go for?

Yes i believe it to be a original and a seller sold a set of unused london tickets including the final for £1000+ recentley... the buyer resold the tickets seperatley and heres what the final ticket went for.

world cup it is really so much exciting...I am eagerly waiting for this great moment. It is really uncommon collection to all.
