After years of sitting dorment in a cupboard I have decided to sell my scarf collection to concentrate on my badges and programmes. I have scarves from about 50 different teams (mainly from the 1990s so many of the designs are impossible to find now) and have put them up on ebay to hopefully find a better home. The link to one of the listing is at the end of this post... and then click on "sellers other items" to see the rest...

Anyone else on here collect scarves? how on earth do you store them ?(the taking up of the space was the biggest problem!). My original plan was to have them all over the walls of a room in my house but the Mrs was having none of that!

I have a small collection of match scarves from Bolton's two Uefa Cup runs.
The official scarf sold in the Atletico Madrid shop for the away leg is probably one of my favourite 3 items of football memorabilia.
There was a silk match scarf made for the Besiktas v Bolton game which I have never seen on ebay and would love to own.
Another one i'd like is for the Bolton v Zenit game.I got to the ground an hour early specifically to buy a match scarf but the club shop was full of Russians buying everything going and they had sold out.

Storage, mainly in plastic bags in a wardrobe.

The 50 or so scarves I am selling are all club scarves (mainly English). No special match scarves, sorry.

As I assumed, most sold for a couple of quid but my old Blackpool one sold for almost £20..... gloryhunting in full effect!!!

Where they were being bought from was the most surprising.... buyers from Russia, Croatia and Italy collecting lower league english scarves is quite an amusing thought!
