Middlesbrough Programme Book

Some forum members may recall me previously lauding the launch of the first in a series of six books which illustrates the development of the Middlesbrough programme over the years. I know some of you purchased the book and I’m pleased to announce that Book 2 in the series is out now covering the period 1920-1940. A brief description of the contents and details on how to order a copy are shown in this link http://www.middlesbroughfccollection.co.uk/ Please note there are also a limited number of copies of Book 1 (1899-1920) still available which can be ordered at the same time.



As well as illustrating the development of the Middlesbrough programme over the years, statistics, fixtures, and results are also included for the 1st XI and Reserves, including Friendlies, the North Riding Senior Cup & the Sunderland Shipowners Cup, along with a plethora of other fixtures played at Ayresome Park. Previously unpublished fixtures and statistics involving Middlesbrough teams at all levels will be presented in the proceeding books.

There are many folders to peruse including one for the completists titled ‘1st Team Variants’ which shows programmes from the same fixture but with subtle differences.
