Apologies if i have missed a posting re the upcoming increase
I have just had a look at the prices
Unless i am missing something it looks like UK signed for compensation is dropping to £20 from £50 !!!!
However UK standard ( proof of posting) compo will remain at £20 ?
Compensation would be the same if you posted a standard letter under 100g second class
However posting signed for would cost £2.55 and posting standard would cost 85p
Surely I am missing something because this just does not make any sense Confused

I suspect "signed for" will be dropped eventually. Tracked 48 is far better @ £2.70 Large Letter up to 750g with up to £150 compensation.

I am considering switching to the Royal Mail Tracked 48 service.

One question - do I have to use any particular label or can I just print them at home on ordinary paper and stick the label on?

Thanks

Yes Martino ordinary printer paper is fine for the labels.
