This is great news, I'll be there for a look around though can't see there being much for my Swansea and Wales collections

Looking forward to it and maybe meeting a few fellow collectors

I'll pop along. Looking forward to it.
Be good to meet any forum members who might also be there?

I'll ask Jim to notify the vendors about Swansea and Wales.

Sadly I'm not making it Eck, Falkirk will be the next one I can get to.

Spent an interesting couple of hours there yesterday. Picked up a few Scottish non-league clubs I hadn't got an issue from.

Excellent display of old Aberdeen memorabilia which I spent probably far too long looking at and asking questions of.

Didn't spot anyone under the age of 40 there, though, which is no surprise given the way the hobby is going, I suppose.

Downside? One of the vendors there I am sorely tempted to be very critical of - but what's the point. Nothing to be gained. I know who not to deal with in future. Perhaps he thought I was new to the hobby!

What was the problem?

I also went and had a great rummage though nothing for me for Swansea or Wales but tbh I didnt expect anything ...... though I'm like a dog with 2 dicks when I seen old programmes from any team and its a shame I cant afford to collect anything else apart from the previous mentioned...... my 8 year old grandson wanted to come with me even though he has no idea or interest in football memorabilia and he loved it ..... most of the vendors were great and happily chatted away about our shared interests .... i did take a few programmes that i wanted to get rid of but felt awkward as i havent been to a fair for 40 odd years .... look forward to the next one Very Happy

Someone's dismissive attitude. I've a thick skin but I walked away from that stall thining that if I was someone new to the hobby, I may have just left at that point.

Shame, really, as everyone else was great. Especially the display of vintage AFC items. It was worth turning up just to view that!
