Here he is in his Leyton Orient days, 1962, just before he joined Palace. Only 6 games at Selhurst before ending his playing career at Gillingham. I may have seen him play at Palace but being only 6 or so back then I can't remember.

A long managerial stint in the USA, and Hall of Famer, so a football man through and through.

Two ex-O's have passed away within 5 or so days of each other. We lost Gordon Riddick, as well.
