Can anyone explain how every time a New Brighton pre war programme appears there always seems a corner bit torn off on the cover ?

I believe they were clipped On entry token removed. I stand corrected if wrong.

I don't suppose anyone has a copy of the New Brighton vs York City programme from 2nd May 1936? It was the last League match that my grandfather ever played in.

What about Hartlepools vs New Brighton 13th Oct 1934 or Barrow vs New Brighton 2nd Sep 1935?

I have a couple of New Brighton homes from that period, and both are clipped top right.

Looks like they'd stopped that practice by 1939. This for the match against Bradford City 30th Aug 1939
