Hi gents
I was really surprised to come across this unusual 1923 season Spanish football programme. I didn't realise that programmes in the British style ie team line ups existed. Most European references to games seem to be through magazines and newspapers
The game is between Espanola and union sporting club
I believe this is part of the campeonato regional centro won by Real Madrid
Has anyone on here ever come across such programmes and also any idea of collectability and value
I paid a fair bit for it but it does appear to be quite a rare item?
Thanks for any help

I've picked up a small number of pre WW2 programmes on visits to Barcelona myself, but these were single sheets. Haven't come across anything like that before though Steve. Barcelona didn't start issuing programmes, as opposed to their numerous weekly and monthly official magazines, until the 1949-50 season. |

Cheers John
I thought it was unusual!

Damn! I am in Sitges for a few weeks and was planning a raid....looks like there will be competition.
Any hints on the best places to trawl? _________________ Currently disposing of my collection so please email any wants lists to [email protected].
Most Plymouth post 1959 but plenty of others including reserves, friendlies, Cup Finals Internationals and Club issues, handbooks and other sports. |

There's some excellent flea markets, Sunday collectors markets in Placa Real just off Las Ramblas, and another one inbetween the bottom of Las Ramblas and the dock. There's also an extensive outdoor bookmarket on a Sunday at the back of the Muslim sector of Las Ramblas as well. Lots of the collectors shops around there as well open on Sundays in the summer - so Sundays are the best day to be there, but best get there in the morning, the best stuff goes by the afternoon. |

Excellent information...so glad you are back...
Now just have to persuade the wife we should sample the true street markets of Barcelona! _________________ Currently disposing of my collection so please email any wants lists to [email protected].
