This had actually been down in the Celtic Collectors Club as a no issue.

ST Louis C.Y.C All Stars v Glasgow Celtic.

Roosevelt High School Field ST Louis.

Match played on 29th May 1966.

Celtic won 6-1.

Can anyone please advise on price for this?.

I should have perhaps stated that it was down as a no issue until I had actually contacted the online site with the scan.

It is therefore as I state "very rare" and was interested to see the value of the programme.

Very hard to put a value on such an item. It really depends on what somebody is willing to pay.

strange why it would be considered rare,as i am sure it is.

Manchester United played them in May 1960 and they published a very substantial programme which is not that difficult to find
Also a dinner was held and the menu from that appears pretty often as well.

United went because of the Matt Busby,strict Catholic association and i presume Celtic went for the same reason

I would have thought it would have been a well attended game and i can't see why they wouldn't have produced a "fund raising" programme to boost the coffers

I found a Hibs European away that had always been deemed to be a non issue. Funded a fairly substantial investment in my then collection.

The value of such items are always down to what people are prepared to pay, but would suggest it might be worth a punt with one of the auction houses who specialise in football items, if you're looking to sell it. With it being the only one, you'll never find out it's value unless it gets sold - or another one turns up, which would seriously devalue yours probably!

Welcome to the site Nagrom. Sounds like a great find. Were you able to send CPO a scan of the programme cover too?

Might be my ageing computer, but am getting a broken pic link symbol on Gary's link above.

Am sure it would be of interest to the many Celtic and Scottish collectors on here to see what the programme looks like, if not at the Celtic prog site , then maybe on here? cheers in advance!

Thanks for all comments certainly take on board re going to auction.

I do have interest already as you can imagine and have some thinking to do.

Having collected for almost 50 years had never seen this until I had my own offer accepted.

Bit ironic having this considering I collect "Rangers" memorabilia however knew that I could use for good exchange/cash deal in the future.
