I recently made a bid on a ticket. The condition was not great. I didn't win but the price was ok considering the poor state it was in.
A few days later the same ticket is listed again by the same seller. What is going on ?
I am seeing this quite often . One item I bid on, the seller stated, due to a non payer he is relisting. But he only sold it a few days previous.
it's a mystery to me. Confused

maybe SHILL bidding? is a more likely scenario and his mate or even himself using a different moniker won it-that is the only explanation i have Sherlock if this is the case he aint the first and will not be the last either.

Similar sort of experience.

Bid a maximum of £20 on a prog and for a few days I was the only bidder. Within the last few hours a number of bids appeared (all private) and increased by a pound until it reached £21 and then it stopped. Nobody else bidded and neither did I Shake

A few days later and the same item is listed again, same condition, same faults. This time the seller has added the ' only bid if you intend to pay blah blah blah' Wink

He had the starting price at £20 Shocked

This got me thinking Sherlock that it was a definite 'Shiller' and that he had expected me to increase my bidding...which of course I didnt.

I thought he may have offered me a second chance offer at £20...but he didnt. Anyway, the second listing at a starting price of £20 failed to sell (no bidders Shocked ).

A few days later, I received an email asking if I would consider purchasing the prog at £20.... it was like a second chance offer but it wasnt if you know what I mean.

I declined No

Footnote: I obtained the programme about a month later for a BIN price of £2.99 Shocked with free postage Shocked and no obvious faults Shocked ////////// from \\\\\\\\\\

So it is worth going through the Bob Frank and Tony Bennett pages!!!
You don't even have much competition either as most of the dealers on here have blocked them if you believe the posts

Same experience recently myself. The programme was put on again and I bid exactly the same amount £15...outbid with a day to go by the only other bidder against me who made seven or eight bids to get over my price.

Hope they end up paying more in paypal fees than £15!
