I have over 300 Bristol Rovers programmes from the 1980's which I'm looking to sell but not sure the best way to sell them and looking for advice please. I was thinking of one big job lot.

The majority are home games over a few seasons but I also have 102 away games with a mixture of different teams.

One of the programmes is the centenary match vs Tottenham on 19/04/1983 and one is Rediffusion' Star Soccer XI vs Thames T.V All Stars XI so wasn't sure if they were rare?

There are also 3 team sheets for games in the 1980's which I'm not sure are worth anything?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Sadly programmes of that era are easy to come by and difficult to sell. Many dealers will not even take them.
The whole lot you would be lucky to get 20 to 25p each. If you have tickets they are more collectable.
Lots of work for little reward to sell individually so maybe best to sell via ebay as a job lot. You will be lucky to get more than £50 or £60 unless you have an unusual item such as a rare postponed game.
Good luck but you are not going to make much.

The last game at Eastville is worth looking out for, Bristol Rovers v Chesterfield 26.4.86. There are a couple on ebay at the moment. Both looking for optimistic "Buy it now" prices of £52.72 and £74.99!

Badhand is of course correct to point out the relative scarcity of the Chesterfield home. At the time it was not known that the end-of-season game was to be Rovers' last League fixture at Eastville so low attendence.

The final club game there was by the reserves against Watford 3/5/86 and a teamsheet was issued.

A decade ground sharing with Bath city was to follow before they returned to Bristol.
