I don't know if the rules have changed as you can buy music tickets.
Only have my mobile to hand so can't see if it is legitimate bidding or not.

Somebody's taking the piss. If you were a genuine football fan you'd already have your ticket. If you were stinking filthy rich and wanted a ticket you'd have connections. It's either a wind up - all the bids are private again (funny that, is it not?) or someone's having a laugh at his expense.

Yes, its against the rules to sell football tickets and I can understand this for obvious reasons.

What I have never understood, is the allowing of Music concert Tickets to be sold. Confused

Its against the law to sell on ebay.co.uk but you can see tickets in worldwide search mainley from Germany and usa on there, thers nothing stopping you contacting the seller and doing a deal though! At the moment theres plenty of sellers selling champions league final tickets at well over £2000! Seems strange for ebay not to block the event ticket search from appearing from international sites. Allthough it does block you bidding.

Lots of genuine Hibs and Hearts fan do not have tickets for the match. Both teams got 20,000 tickets and Hibs kept 1000 back for phone/internet sales on Wednesday. Needless to say they did not last long.
I know a few guys who go to most games who have missed out.
Usually lots of debentures are available if the Old Firm are not involved, but not this time, as it appears lots of neutrals want to watch this one.

Come on the Hibees

Thing is, Eric, you're confusing "fans" with those who actually attend games. 20,000 for teams who average much less than that should suffice. I know the Hibees had 15,000 for the Pars game the other night, but they struggled to reach 10,000 in others leading up to it. Hearts had less than 9,000 against us, and that included nearly 3,000 Talbot fans.
All season ticket holders, I assume, are guaranteed their ticket(s)? If not, there's surely something wrong there.
At Talbot we probably average 450 fans per game, but for the Junior Cup Final at Rugby Park we can turn out 5 to 6,000. They're not fans in the real sense of the word, they're the glory hunters who come out to support their village side because it's a big day. Don't have any problem with that, but do wish one or two of them would occasionally turn up for a league game! Because the Junior Cup Final is being held at Almondvale this year, I reckon half the normal Cup Final won't be going because it's too far, ie not 10 miles away.
If there are fans who go to watch Hearts and Hibs who don't have tickets, then that's the fault of the distributing clubs, not the SFA. Couldn't care less anyway, we've got a league match against Pollok to worry about that could determine whether or not we have a pop at the league title!
All the very best to the Hibees, you deserve it after this long, and because you're playing a club who had a more than welcome helping hand from a duff linesman in our game when we had a valid equaliser ruled out in injury time. Can't have the wee clubs upsetting the top table, eh? And before you say it wasn't in Tynie, you're the only person in the UK who thinks so....... Nod
