The Swallow has been in administration for a while and it closed in April not long after the Lancashire Fair.

It has been acquired by another hotel chain although it is not clear what the future holds.

The food in the restaurant was shite when I stopped there the day before the last Fair. I complained to the staff but they just looked like brain dead zombies and nothing happened. Luckily, it was a semi decent deal because they were in administration. Shame, because it was one of the best venues around for a fair.

Pity.. it was a great venue....... however irons in the fire and new venues in the pipeline
