Apologies to all Blackpool fans (lovely all of them), but I could never stand Paul Ince.

Second is probably Roy Keane.

Third probably Peter Schmiechal (sp)

Current players, probably Tarrabt (sp) at QPR. Can't stand him.

Apologies to the decent Man Utd posters on here also

Just remembered another one, Robbie Savage, particularly when he was at Leicester and had girly blonde hair

Gary Shaw, Dion Dublin, Ian 'He's a donkey' Ormandroyd, Lee Hendrie bit of a theme with those four! Ian Rush, gave me a look once for calling him something not very nice at a Blues v Liverpool game in the 80's, John Barnes but who hasn't at some stage! Oh and Steve Foster for that headband!

No need to apologise Dorking, I was never a big fan of Paul Ince myself.

He's OK for the time being though, apparently being able to stand up to our Chairman and persuading him to start spending some of the Premiership millions.

O and you did take Ollie off us. Thumbs Up

Eco! I have to agree with Auch about Laudrup and Larsson. As a Dons fan I am programmed to hate the Old Firm but for those two I'd make an exception. Both incredibly gifted and by modern football standards, fair! And as far as grabbing shirts and going down to get penalties, the two best/worst were Chris Sutton and Ally McCoist - just YouTube the pen he won against us in the Cup Final in 1982(not sure of date). And I know you might disagree but I've got to put Wilie Johnston into the hated category ...

I understand about Willie Johnston, and others (I wanted to kill Lafferty after that stunt) But I don't care if I don't like someone i'll be honest about it as for McCoist diving he wasn't in the same league as Larrson.

The only people who could hate Willie Miller, or as he is known in Aberdeen, God, could be fans of the Old Firm or possibly Dundee Utd. He was only hated because... a) He was the best penalty box defender in the world...b) he took everything the OF could throw at hime and gave it back double....c) he was a part of getting Aberdeen to the top of European football, something unthinkable and unrepeatable these days... and d) he was the best referee in Scottish football in the 70's and 80's which equalised some of the establishment's intrinsic bias towards them ... He also lived up the road from me in Aberdeen next to my mate and was a dead scary neighbour, yet signed an autograph for me on my stag night in Aberdeen in the mid-90's!

Billy Bremner, I can understand ....

To be honest with you, I think it was that reverence you mention that really bugged me at the time. All I could see was a dirty player who got away with murder on the park.
Plenty do, of course....but then there was that moustache!

I was quite ambivalent towards my home town club until Willie (and Fergie) appeared on the scene.

Sorry!

No No i agree re Schmiechal an ignorant barsteward up his own arse, Paul Ince too with the squeaky voice and delusions of being a footballer, i remember that BASTARD after he equalised at Anfield v United as if it was the world cup, prem league, champs leage all at once-an arsehole, but Roy Keane was a marmite guy its that simple but as a player incredible apart from the incident with Haarland.
