An honest typo then, don't mind them at all. The price has changed.

I think that might be the same person who has got about 100-200 programmes on ebay, from the late 70's early 80's at a buy it now price of £14.99 plus postage, now these programmes you can pick up from most people for about 50p-£1. None of the ones i've seen you would call rare at all or valuable (opening of grounds, finals, semi's etc), have been tempted a few times to email them, but can;t be bothered with the hassle.

People will keep posting at such ridiculous prices if they know they may get a sale. Bombard them with ridiculous offers and make them aware that they're well out of synch with everyone else. They may change, they may not. The down side is that if people, because of a general ignorance of programme prices do buy them at the greatly inflated costs, and then see them later for pennies, it will leave a very bad taste in their mouth, and a possible convert to collecting leaving the hobby.
I contacted somebody this week who was offering a small amount of Man. Utd programmes form 68-9 season, described as "rare" plus an extortionate amount of postage. I advised the seller that they were common as muck, and how on earth could they justify such an amount of postage? Haven't had a reply yet..

Here is a good one:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayI.....amp;ih=001

A Stoke City v Real Madrid 1963 friendly and the seller wants £25 or nearest offer !!! What's more it's not even mint ! It has a fold down the centre !

The advert states this programme is VERY RARE and you would have to look hard to find another one. Shocked Perhaps the seller didn't before listing this one , as there are another 2 on sale on Ebay now and they appear at least once a week.

Normally go for between £1 and £2.50 plus postage.

I've asked him if he would like to purchase the 3 MINT copies I have for his £25 asking price but, sadly, no reply.

Someone else has even listed a copy for £9.99. Are these programmes soaring in value ??

CREDIT CRUNCH TIP: GET OUT OF PROPERTY/STOCKS/BONDS, GET INTO STOKE V MADRID PROGRAMMES !!! Laughing Laughing Laughing

I usually start my progs on Ebay at anything between 0.90p-£1.50. With post/packing at 0.90p-£1.25 depending on size of prog.
Lets face it the prog will find its true value 95% of the time.

No, he's the idiot who tries to sell all non descript programmes at £9.99 or more. There's a guy on here who collects Olbury programmes who has also complained about the f***wit. As I said before, people may buy out of a genuine ignorance, and only realise they've been ripped off at a later date. Bombard the idiot with offers of pennies.

It's not remotely rare. Most of our early nineties programmes are quite easy to get hold of, so defintiely don't pay £9.99 for that one!

You can probably find one at http://rugbyrelics.com/SW/swansea.htm

Scroll down to his postage conditions. He seems to think that the Highlands are not part of the UK mainland.
Don't see why the I.O.W or Isle of Man would have different postage costs either.
