Post subject: Foreign Badges - Advice Required
Reply with quote

I am hoping a fellow member may be able to provide some advice on two foreign (Russian or similar?) badges which I have just found in a cupboard.

Does anyone have any ideas to which team they represent - I cannot see any makers names on either pin badge (there is a slight mark to the rear of the larger badge but nothing identifiable as a symbol.) Any idea on value would also be appreciated?

A couple of photos are uploaded below. Thanks in advance. M

Hi, I think: first is "signe of Rossia" (Gerb Rosiji is wroten on Russian cirilic letters) and probably nombers down explain era when was this signe of Russia.

Second badge is 100 % Football Federation of SSSR
but very strange that is enameled,
Soviet dosent often produce enamel, they produced cheap, painted (coloured) badges,
If your is enameled, may be :
or very old Soviet production
or some other producer from abroad
in this case no need to be fake: factory's from Italia, and some other Western Countryes made originals and official badges for Eastern Countryes
for example: Bertoni Milano for Yugoslavia several times and for some special events in football or other sports World and European Championships

I had the 2nd badge but sold it on ebay a while back. Was looking through my feedback to see how much I got for it....£2.72!

And it sold exactly a year ago today! Smile
