He deserves all of the 12 matches, i hope he never gets another job in football. I certainly wouldnt want him at my club. As for still getting paid, if i was to behave like he does i would lose my job and not getpaid, surely QPR if they wanted to can find a way to sack him for discipline reasons.

Barton = Inbred scum. He should be sacked and banned from British Football...however, the apologists and sympathisers are out in force - Clarke Carlyle is a complete tit.

On and off the field Barton is not 'hard'. More guttless coward who will stay down when 'slapped' (Gervinho @ Arsenal) or pick a fight with kids or people smaller than himself (which is the only hard thing he does, finding people smaller than himself to pick on the 9 stone squirt).

A real pity Kompany and Balotelli got held back as Barton would now be suing all and sundry for the beating he took from the nasty men.

I would really like 10 minutes in a boxing ring with Barton the 'tough guy' to find out exactly how his Huyton genes react to a one on one fight, not a 7 on one axe to the back of the head type fight he's usually involved with. rant over.

Although I don't condone Barton's behaviour, and I agree he should have his wages docked for the 12 weeks ban; how is it that Tevez gets off scott free when he clearly elbowed Barton first. As for all these foreign prima donnas falling over when someone breathes it is a disgrace the cheating and play acting that goes on to get players sent off, three times against QPR last season a f****ng disgrace.
I personally feel that Barton needs to sort out his anger and learn not to react to the goading and sneaky shots he takes from other players.
In my opinion it takes two to tango and Barton always gets the rough end of the stick, people are always quick to kick a dog when it's down.
