i have a ticket for a manchester united ecc quarter final match played on a wednesday 15th and wondered which game it is and value of the ticket?

yes, it is against red star, even right date of match is 14th January 1958.
value, 30 -50 pounds, full ticket (with right side ) sold few years a go for 250 (not good remember)

i know now that it is against red star but the auction decription said it was from 1965 but that does not fit

Do you know what, if the guy had said, this is really interesting because the ticket states the 15th but some are saying it was played on the 14h. can anyone please give an explanation, cheers.

Sorry i can't help you Wullie with the reason why the date on the ticket is wrong, but the game was most definitely played on the 14th.

I guess that did not happen once to be a different game to play dates and the date on the ticket.
The fact is, such is our number from forum said:
In the original ticket to the match Manchester United: Red Star writes 15.January date of 1958 but the game was played on Tuesday 14 January.
So what now? This is well known by those who collect memorabilia these two clubs, other collectors do not need to know, but they do not need to be negatively oriented toward those who know and want to inform them.
