I'm the same about the Wales games over the last few years to be honest. Most are very boring games without the passion that used to be shown years ago for your country. Wales game on wednesday might be different though as its Gary Speeds memorial game so will be full of passion from fans and players alike.

I never watch England friendlies.

Completely pointless exercise for all involved, with the exception of Stuart Pearce, and he doesn't look that bothered he's got Rob Green and Stewart Downing in the squad.

What relevance do these games have, apart from the politics.

Eric Cantona once said 'that friendlies are for children'.

So, it's a definate 'No' from me, I will support them at the Euro's as usual, but I haven't had the adrenalin pumping, about an England performance since being strip naked in a pub in Newcastle, and tied to a lampost outside a resturant, during half time, in the England/Colombia world cup game in 1998.

The manager of the resturant came out and asked us to refrain from such behaviour as it was putting customers of their chipolata's.

I`m still waiting for some sort of explanation about how poor we were in South Africa.

As we haven`t had this yet, I can`t see how we can move forward

Can't say I've ever been at all bothered about international football, it seems to get more irrelevant by the day...

The only thing this one has going for it is Pscho's involvement!

If he can raise just a bit of his old passion for the game it may make it interesting.......

Will be there with me match-sticks.
Will try to last 90 mins.
But may take an early bath for a fag.

Is that an Eton fag Mister G? If so, it would appear to be somewhat above the call of duty for him.

"At Eton, if you were a fag master you chose the prettiest fag from among the lower boys. You just liked to have a pretty fag - I suppose it was a substitute for girls. The funny thing was, if you shagged one of the maids you were instantly expelled, but if you had anything to do with boys you got a severe ticking-off. "

I won't be watching. Only watch England in the finals of a tournament. Even then I don't really care that much. I(t's just an excuse for a day/night on the lash.)
Not when it's a bunch of over paid tossers playing.
Why should the fans care when the bloody players don't.
What they deserve is to run out to find a compleatly empty stadium and then find that the tv viewing figures were sod all too.

Rather watch Rovers on a cold November night in Rochdale to be honest.

Gave up on England friendlies ages ago, never seemed to give the right players a chance, then if they did they'd be played out of position and then we'd change the whole team at half time, hardly suprising that we struggle at major finals.

Will be watching, more than anything just to see if anything has changed since Capello left. Got my tickets for the Belgium game too.

I'll be there later, but again wondering why I bother. A sizeable percentage of the crowd will be equally not-bothered as they stream out with a full 10 minutes to go!

My wife and I used to go to just about all the games, home and away, and in order to be high up the pecking order for officially sourced England away games and tournament finals tickets, it was pretty much essential we went to all the home games.

We've given up the away games now (can't afford them) but still go to all the homes, more out of habit than anything. If we do ever want to go to an away game again, then we are high enough up in the 'loyalty points table' to get tickets for most such games (eg when we played Wales 'away' last year)

I must admit once the mass substitutions take place I completely lose interest - and am regularly annoyed at how conveniently loads of the 'best' players are usually injured whenever its a friendly.

Luckily we live just over an hour away, we always buy the cheapest tickets (with members discount) and I have an England programme subscription (which keeps the cost down) so all in all its a cheap and harmless evenings entertainment.

The recent home game against Sweden only cost me £27.50 for two adults and a child ticket (2 x £10, 1 x £5 and a £2.50 booking fee), so it's not too bad really.

I go to most qualifiers but hardly any friendlies. Too much messing around to get back oop north after some boring game where i want to leave at half time, and don't remember the next morning.

Roll on the 2014 qualifiers and Moldova away Neutral
